Dining Out in Christchurch

As the sun sets over the charming architecture of Christchurch, the city transforms into a lively hub of activity.  The nightlife here is a perfect blend of cozy pubs, energetic clubs, and delightful eateries.  Areas such as Victoria Street and the riverside setting of Oxford Terrace are filled with popular venues, from upscale bars to casual pubs.

Every second Thursday, talented musicians perform on the Third Floor Mezzanine of the Riverside Market at their live music nights.  Grab some dinner and a drink from one of the many dining options and head upstairs and relax for a couple of hours.

He Puna Taimoana Spa Pools

He Puna is a short 15 minutes from Christchurch, soak in one of five luxurious hot pools while enjoying stunning ocean views.  Enjoy relaxing and recover in the plunge pool, steam room and experience beachside views from the sauna.  They are ppen from 10.00am to 7.30pm daily.  However, on Friday nights the pools stay open late.
